Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and Nashville has plenty planned for the days leading up to it. From costume parties and bar crawls to live performances and neighborhood traditions, there are plenty of ways to spend Halloween weekend around the city.

For something a little more contained, L27 Rooftop hosts its Halloween Eve Masquerade Party on Friday night. The 21-and-over party runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at L27 Lounge at The Westin Nashville, with costumes, DJs, cocktails, Halloween décor, and 27th-floor views of the city.
Back at Noelle, Hidden Bar has transformed for the season with an Impractical Magic-inspired experience running through October 31. Expect themed cocktails, midnight margaritas, and plenty of magic behind the bar. No reservations are required, and guests who dine at Lona receive a pass to skip the line.
Saturday: Halloween Events Before Dark
There’s plenty happening around Nashville before the evening’s parties get underway, including a daytime performance and one of East Nashville’s neighborhood Halloween traditions.
Nashville Ballet presents Día de los Muertos at The Martin Center for Nashville Ballet from October 28 through November 1, with two performances scheduled for Halloween at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Choreographed by Maria A. Konrad, the hour-long production draws inspiration from Mexican Día de los Muertos traditions and the paintings of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. The all-ages performance offers a different way to celebrate before the evening’s festivities begin.
Over in East Nashville, All Hallows East returns Saturday, October 31, from 4 to 10 p.m. The neighborhood Halloween block party brings together live music, costume contests, food, and activities for kids and adults.
Saturday Night: Halloween on Broadway
Lower Broadway and 2nd Avenue will be right in the middle of the Halloween-night action, with several downtown bars participating in Trick or Drink: Nashville Halloween Bar Crawl.
The three-day event includes a Halloween-night crawl on Saturday, October 31, from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m., with registration at Nashville Live! on 2nd Avenue North.
Currently announced participating bars include Nashville Live!, Bootleggers Inn, Broadway Brewpub & Grub, DraftKings Sports & Social, Hard Rock Cafe, PBR, Redneck Riviera, and Whiskey Row. Most stops are concentrated around Lower Broadway and 2nd Avenue, putting the crawl within a short walk of Noelle.
Halloween Night at Noelle
Noelle has a few reasons to stay close to home on Halloween night, too.
Lona celebrates Día de los Muertos on October 31, with dinner and drinks followed by a DJ beginning at 9 p.m. At Hidden Bar, the Impractical Magic-inspired experience celebrates its final night with a DJ starting at 9 p.m.
Costumes are encouraged, with a costume contest wrapping up the night at midnight in Hidden Bar. Stop in before heading out downtown, come back later in the night, or spend the evening moving between Lona and Hidden Bar.
