The 19th Amendment states that “the right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.” Nashville is proud to have been a pivotal player in the women’s suffrage movement, and the historic location of the swing vote that pushed the 19th Amendment through to ratification.

This year, we are celebrating the momentous vote that took place 100 years ago. Noelle is proud to be featuring special installations and activations on property to honor the Suffrage Centennial. Below you’ll find a list of the things that you can do and see around the hotel:

    • Front Desk Floral Display: all year long, we’ll be displaying yellow roses at our front desk to honor those who supported the women’s suffrage movement
    • Archives Gallery: on the mezzanine level, we invite you to read about Nashville’s key players and moments that led to the ratification of the 19th Amendment
